SAM ROSENBERG | Founder
Sam Rosenberg has been in the business of protecting people and organizations – and teaching them how to protect themselves – since 1996.
He is the Founder of Global Protective Services, Inc. (GPS) and Sam Rosenberg’s Academy of Personal Protection, both based in Pittsburgh, PA, which together provide comprehensive enterprise risk management, training, and executive protection services for clients globally.
The author of The Traveler’s Guide to Personal Security, The Path of the Victor, and the forthcoming You Are the Weapon: Violence Is Never Random and You Are Never Helpless, Sam is also the inventor of the Response Pen (Patent #9,108,454) and the designer of the LiveReady Series Knives.
Sam served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and in the private sector as a close protection specialist for some of the world’s highest profile individuals, including heads of state, dignitaries, celebrities, and executives.
He and his team have empowered tens of thousands of individuals across hundreds of workplaces, schools, and places of worship through his unique hands-on compression training methods, which produce practical skills in hours rather than years, and in ways that are unintimidating, engaging, and fun. Programs do not require physical size, strength, or endurance, nor years of continuous practice.
